Lots to pray for

This morning I've been burdened with lots to pray for.

First, a praise!
I heard that the remaining 7 Koreans might be released today! Woo hoo! Praise God!

Things to pray for:

* For the Christians in Bangalore (including the George family) who are being persecuted by radical Hindus.
VOM contacts report, "On August 18, two members of [a] Hindu radical organization... threatened to burn Pastor Thomas and his family to death if they did not vacate their home and stop worship services. The next day they barged into a prayer meeting, abused the believers using filthy language and assaulted the pastor's wife and another believer. They snatched a Bible from another man's hand and threw it out of the building." After the believers were evicted from the church, the attackers vandalized the building. VOM contacts added, "The radicals vandalized the church building by drawing Hindu symbols, the trishul, swastika, Sanskritic Om and slogans such as 'Jai Shri Ram and Hindu Dharma is ours, who is Yesu?' They also conducted a Hindu religious rite inside the church and locked it." (Yesu means Jesus)

* For a prominent Christian businessman, in the area where the VA team is, who is in detention for being involved in the delivery of 2 tons of bibles for local believers. Pray that the bibles would get distributed and also that if it's God's will this man would not be imprisoned for the full 15 year sentence he is facing.
