Survival in India
In an attempt to do a better job of posting more frequently (at least for this week) I am going to post a series of tips for surviving in India. So here goes...tip #1
1. You need to make friends with the bugs...or just kill them. If you're living in India you've GOT to get used to the bug factor. They are everywhere! Mosquitos biting your skin, flies buzzing at your ear and gnats flying at your face. Today Benjamin killed at least 40 flies in our kitchen! We have this handy bug zapper which electricutes them with a push of a button. It's quite gratifying. In fact it's become a sport around here. Another thing about dead bugs. If you leave a dead insect lying around you will have hundreds of ants chewing on it's dead body the day after. Yeah...that's how gross it is.

i feel ya on the bug thing. my legs are eaten up by mosquito bites. and we have to watch each dish immediately when we're done with it or else we're surrounded by ants. and the other night we had an infestation of moths!
Yuck! Why did God create bugs?
